Day 1: ATHENS
(THURSDAY)
Welcome Dinner in Beautiful Plaka
Anytime, Anywhere
Stay in Plaka or Koukaki. We suggest the Herodion Hotel, directly across from the Acropolis Museum. Meet at 6 pm at the Acropolis metro sign to enjoy a lovely dinner together beneath the Acropolis in lights.
Days 2-4: Peloponnese
(Fri., Sat., Sun.)
Nature & Community in Peloponnesos
Anytime, Anywhere
Rent Cars together or separately. Drive to Historic Sparta. Stay in the friendly Menelaion Hotel, an ideal spot near where we work together in Sparta.
Friday: Tour Our Future Cohousing Village and the gorgeous surrounding resort.
Note: **Those who've elected to tour as "Cohousing Curious" rather than Explorer members will return to Athens or explore independently from here.
Saturday & Sunday: Explorer members Only- A special longer tour and time spent in nature on our plot. See where each home will be built and where the amazing Common House will go in detail. Shape Our Village Together by organizing workshops on permaculture on the platiea or anything else the members value and want to shape. Explore beautiful nearby villages, such as seaside Gythio, UNESCO site Mystras, and nearby Xirocambi and Sparta. The group gets to plan and enjoy this during our gatherings for members.
Monday: Return to Athens and stay in the Herodion hotel in Plaka or in a airbnb in Koukaki or Acropolis.
Day 5: ATHENS

As we enter the very exciting building stage of development in Peloponnesos, we’re pausing to review the Crete tour dates- reach out with interest and we'll get back to you very soon.
In Peloponnesos, we are also gearing up for a exciting season of hands-on workshops in Peloponnesos—starting with Permaculture and Landscape Architecture on our Plateia this October, and continuing with Climate Change & Sustainable Living in December. Days 6-9: Rethymno Crete
Anytime, Anywhere
Tuesday: Fly from Athens to CHANIA Airport in Crete. Pick up your car and drive to Rethymno. Settle in the Historic Ink Hotel of Europe in Old Town Rethymno. Meet outside the hotel at 6 pm and enjoy exploring Rethymno and having dinner together in Old Town Rethymno.
Wednesday: Tour Potential Village options in the form of old historic landmark buildings, hotel or villa complex hotels for sale in and around Rethymno and Chania.

Thursday: A special day designed for Explorer Members to go deeper. Join tailored activities that match your interests—whether that’s visiting potential sites again, touring a finished home, meeting with local professionals (architects, lawyers, real estate agents), or exploring Chania and Rethymno with fellow members. You’ll have the chance to imagine what’s possible, discuss next steps together, and start shaping the vision for a potential cohousing village.
Friday: Explore Together! The group decides! The Beach! The History! The Food! and More.
