About Exploring

A simple Google search of "cohousing" will easily bring up TED Talks, books, articles, videos, and decades of research-- all showing that people truly thrive in these communities.  They feel less lonely, they feel they are contributing to something meaningful, and they feel they are living more sustainably.  Cohousing is a more resilient and principled way to live- and more joyful too!

Yet Cohousing success is not magic.  Like a good cake, cohousing has great ingredients, and the ingredients are the people and their committment to the community.  You cannot simply buy a home in our village. You must show that you are one of those special people. There is a reason that most cohousing communities have waitlists.  To find out how you become a member in our community, check out our path to membership below.

Becoming an Explorer Member with Greek Village Cohousing is your first step into a vibrant and intentional way of living.

It’s an opportunity to discover the lifestyle of cohousing—not just the physical location or buildings—but the values, relationships, and shared purpose that form the heart of our community.

This process is structured to help you integrate into the group, explore the vision we’ve collectively shaped, and contribute meaningfully to building our future together.

Once you become an Explorer member, you become eligible to apply for full members (Community Partners) and become neighbors in our village.

Also Consider:  Cohousing is worth visiting in your country of origin so that you can see for yourself what TedTalks celebrate. Studies confirm- that this is a deeper and more meaningful existence beyond merely buying a house in a village.  You do not have to be an extrovert to love cohousing- studies show more introverts than extroverts live in cohousing.  You also do not need to devalue your privacy.  People in cohousing value privacy and private lives.  However- People need community, and those who commit to this community-oriented lifestyle thrive.  Email Evi to set up a tour in a nearby cohousing community to see for yourself, then imagine what it will be like in beautiful Greece!
