Join Us in Greece!!!
This trip is designed for three types of visitors:
Explorer Members, who arrive ready to influence their village design and have fun;
Visitors seeing the location before deciding on explorer status; and
Current cohousing or ecovillage residents, joining us to share in celebrating community and this beautiful country.
Who are Explorer Members?
Cohousing is an Intentional community, and Intentional communities do not sell or rent property except to those who have gathered together and bonded over creating the village together.
Explorers are people actively learning with us and helping stress-test ideas before anything is built. It’s a structured participation stage—you attend orientations, join sociocratic circles, enjoying meeting others on Zoom and in Greece, and get involved in practical exercises (site walks, layout tradeoffs, governance previews). The aim is clarity and fit—for you and for the group—not a purchase promise. Many established cohousing groups use this step (sometimes called “Explorer,” “Associate,” or “Provisional” member) so newcomers can understand roles, expectations, and community culture before making any bigger decisions.

Step 4: Step by Step Instructions to Make your Hotel Reservations.
Congratulations on taking this step toward living your best life!
Please visit our step-by-step logistics page to book your hotel and arrange transportation. We’ve secured special GVC rates at our preferred hotels, which also make it easier for everyone to gather — though of course, the choice is yours. Once you’ve booked, send us a quick email so we can include you in our Zoom gathering for tour participants. It’s a great chance to meet each other in advance and possibly coordinate shared rides.
Step 5: Check Your Expectations and
Prioritize Your Dreams For a New
and Different Life in Community.
The trip logistics page on our website will guide you step-by-step through each day and provide all the links you’ll need. Below is a brief overview of what you’ll find there.
This is not a real estate tour. It’s an opportunity to seriously and deeply consider a different way of living.
What you are exploring is also a Community-Led experience. Evi is a cohousing consultant and founder. The group is fully driving the development of their village. This is not developer or builder led. Our buiders/developers/renovators chosen do not control or decide who moves into our village with us or what designs are chosen for our homes. They are our partners and collaborators, and they make our dreams a reality, but the village is community-driven in origin and development.
Our purpose for these trips is to work together to shape our village, have alot of fun together, and to connect with people who share our vision for a cohousing lifestyle and find our tribe.
This is also not a commercial tour of Greece, nor is it a adventure vacation or curiousity vacation trip. The experience is not commercial, and no profit is made. It is not set up to serve vacation needs in return for a profit. It is not perfectly scripted and planned. It is meaningful, real, and organic.
If your image of Greece is shaped by being served on a commercial tour, it’s important to adjust expectations — here, there are no people hired to serve--we help each other.
If you’re an Explorer Member, and group size allows, you’ll take part in collaborative work with fellow members and our professional team. If you are a nonmember, you'll receive a full tour of the location in Peloponnesos and the group's first choice in Crete, and if the trip allows, you'll meet others.
The trip is richer when approached with openness and genuine curiosity about people and place. You’ll start to feel this connection when you email us and join our pre-travel Zoom gatherings, where you can meet others, share ideas, and begin building relationships before we travel.
Explorer Members & Design Week
Those who aspire to live in our village begin by becoming Explorer Members, joining a dedicated group that collaborates weekly on Zoom to co-create their future community.
Explorer Member Experiences take community engagement to the next level—offering a hands-on, immersive experience where members actively shape the village’s design, decisions, and culture. This is more than a tour; it’s a shared journey that fosters a deep sense of belonging and investment in the community’s future.
