Full Tour Dates  (Both Locations)

2025 Tour Dates:
December Tour: December 5 - 13

Early December is quiet, festive, and deeply atmospheric. Villages are strung with lights, Mystras feels magical in the winter light, and the Mani coast has a tranquil beauty. The weather is cool but often bright, and you’ll experience the region in its most local, unhurried mode. It’s a perfect time to walk the land, enjoy fireside meals, and connect with the spirit of place without distractions.

2026 Tour Dates
Winter Tour — February 5–11 (Crete extension: February 11–13)

February is a surprisingly beautiful time to experience Laconia. The Taygetes mountains are often capped with snow, the air is crisp and clear, and the land is green from winter rains. It’s a peaceful season that lets you experience the region in its authentic daily rhythm, without crowds. This is a wonderful time to connect deeply with the landscape, enjoy quiet walks, and envision what year-round life here feels like.

Spring Tour — April 2–8 (Crete extension: April 8–10)

Early spring is one of the most stunning seasons in the Peloponnese. Wildflowers carpet the hillsides, the weather is gentle, and the countryside is alive with new growth. It’s an ideal moment for thoughtful exploration and community conversations outdoors. The longer days and soft light make this a favorite time for many to truly imagine themselves living here.

Late Spring / Early Summer Tour — May 28–June 3 (Crete extension: June 3–5)

Late spring blends warm, sunny days with the vibrant energy of villages coming to life for summer. Taverns spill out into plateias, beaches are welcoming but not crowded, and the landscape is still green from spring. This tour offers the best of both worlds: comfortable weather for walking the land and a lively sense of local culture in full swing.

Autumn Tour — October 8–14 (Crete extension: October 14–16)

Autumn in Laconia has a special atmosphere — the light is golden, the sea is still warm, and the pace is calm after the busy summer months. It’s harvest season, when olives and grapes are gathered, and daily life has a grounded rhythm. This is a wonderful time to experience the landscape at its most settled, meet locals, and enjoy a slower, more reflective side of Greek village life.

December Tour — December 3–9 (Crete extension: December 9–11)

Early December is quiet, festive, and deeply atmospheric. Villages are strung with lights, Mystras feels magical in the winter light, and the Mani coast has a tranquil beauty. The weather is cool but often bright, and you’ll experience the region in its most local, unhurried mode. It’s a perfect time to walk the land, enjoy fireside meals, and connect with the spirit of place without distractions.

Reviews

Before our official tours launch in October 2025, a few visitors have already had the chance to experience the land, the spirit of Greek life, and the beginnings of our cohousing community. Here’s how Jenn, from Hawaii, described her journey:

I joined the early summer 2025 tour to explore both Greece and the idea of cohousing. This was my very first trip to Greece, and it became a memorable introduction to both. I was fortunate to have a private tour that included Athens, the Peloponnese, Sparta, the Tagetes Cohousing site, and Rethymno, Crete.

As an introvert, I especially appreciated that the tour allowed me plenty of time to myself. I never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and that balance of structure and space made it easier to absorb everything I was seeing and experiencing. The journey gave me a sense of Greece’s beauty and history, along with a glimpse of what cohousing could look like here.

I would recommend this experience to anyone curious about cohousing, or simply wanting to see whether life in Greece might be a fit for them. It’s not about doing everything at once—it’s about being gently introduced and given the chance to imagine yourself here. I know I’ll be coming back to explore more.

I'm happy to have a conversation with anyone who has more questions.
